Ennis, Montana is about halfway between Bozeman and West Yellowstone, Montana - population ~ 1,000! It's a traditional hunting area for the Shoshone, Flathead and Bannack Indians with lots of elk and mule deer. Founded in 1863 by William Ennis as part of the gold rush.
